With access from the A6 between Hathern and Kegworth, Whatton Gardens is a beautiful, peaceful retreat.

The gardens are open from 1st March through to 31st October, Sunday through to Friday, from 11:00am to 4:00pm. (closed on Saturdays as Whatton House is a Wedding venue)

Attractions include :

  • Woodland garden paths.
  • Old fashioned rose garden, with extensive views towards Charnwood Forest.
  • Sheltered lawn , surrounded by mature trees and shrubs.
  • Chinese Garden with replica Terracotta Warriors.
  • Magnificent herbaceous border sheltered by the high brick wall of the working kitchen garden
  • Dogs are welcome but must be kept on leads at all times.
  • Tea room open on selected Sunday afternoons only. Please check in advance to avoid disappointment.

Admission: £4.00 per adult, children free
